Pomona College Ombudsperson: The Rehearsal Room monthly

The Rehearsal Room allows members of the Pomona community to come together to build community, creativity, spontaneity and communication skills. Participants will design a fact-based or fictional scenario involving misunderstandings and miscommunication. Gecole will guide the group through enactment of the scenario, offer communication tips to improve the interactions, and facilitate re-enactment of the scenario applying new knowledge. This improvisational laboratory offers people an opportunity to discover their blind spots and practice high stakes communication, without the pressure of “getting it right the first time … or even the fifth time.” Nobody is goof-proof.
