Africa After the End of History is a symposium bringing together scholars from around the world to discuss the continent’s political future at a time of major change in the international order. Through discussions of domestic politics, economic development, international relations, sovereignty, and knowledge production, the conference will explore what the apparent decline of the post-Cold War liberal international order means for African states and societies, and how shifts in global politics are creating new challenges and opportunities across the continent.
